YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 13-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with minor head and leg injuries after being hit by a car in the parking lot of the Norwood School this morning.
The boy was struck as he crossed the lot outside the library after being dropped off by his mother around 8:20 a.m., Norwood Police Chief Jeffrey Krapels told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
He was taken to Englewood Medical Center.
The driver, who was dropping off his own child, told police that he was momentarily blinded by the early-morning sun.
Officers were investigating, Krapels said.
