YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST: An unannounced routine drug sweep was conducted at Ridgewood High School this morning.
Uniformed and plain-clothed village police officers were joined by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit.
They entered the East Ridgewood Avenue side of the school around 9 a.m.
School officials throughout New Jersey conduct the sweeps both to check for illegal substances and to send a message that they won’t be tolerated.
