CVP EXCLUSIVE: A 21-year-old Fair Lawn woman was being held on $300,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail after authorities said she fought with police who took her into custody for an outstanding warrant.
Sondra Shaheata Stevenson was charged with three counts of assault on police, in addition to resisting, obstruction, escape and weapons possession — for having a small bat — after becoming extremely combative following a motor vehicle stop in the rear parking lot of the Valley National Bank building on Broadway at 4:45 p.m. yesterday, Fair Lawn police told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this morning.
