YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A man shot by a Hackensack police officer tonight was wanted in the killing of his ex-girlfriend and their 4-year-old son, Daily Voice has learned.
Jose Ronald Santo-Alvarez, 25, was wanted on an arrest warrant charging him with two counts of murder for the killings, which occurred on Oct. 7 on Lincoln Street in Jersey City.
Authoritied were urged to “use extreme caution” with the 5-foot-6-inch, 200-pound Santo-Alvarez, who the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said “should be considered dangerous.”
“Our officers were checking several houses in the area after getting information from Hudson County when they confronted him at 170 Clay Street at about 7:30 p.m.
