A Peruvian national living in Emerson was charged with the aggravated assault of a 9-year-old girl.
Rafael Salvador-Jauregui, 39, was being held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail following his arrest Wednesday.
Should he make bail, he is prohibited from returning home or having contact with the child, under a judge’s order.
Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said members of his Special Victims Unit arrested Salvador-Jauregui following an investigation with Emerson police. READ MORE….
