A chance encounter in a 7-Eleven led to the Christmas Eve arrest of a 30-year-old ex-con from Hackensack who city police said confessed to sexually assaulting and robbing a woman a month ago on a local street.
Willie Banks was taken into custody after the woman saw him at the Main Street convenience store and contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, Capt. Timothy Lloyd told Daily Voice Thursday night.
Detectives responded and identified Banks from video surveillance, said Lloyd, the department commanding officer in charge. READ MORE….
