A Fairview crossing guard was attacked by a man he caught stealing some items from his car while he was getting a Christmas morning cup of coffee, authorities told Daily Voice.
The victim had ducked into an Anderson Avenue bakery at 6:15 a.m. when Henry Bermeo Cuzco, 23, “jumped into the vehicle to steal some goods,” Deputy Police Chief Martin Kahn said.
An employee alerted the crossing guard, who was thrown to the ground when he confronted Cuzco, Kahn said. READ MORE….
