The vehicle that struck and killed a Teaneck man as he crossed Cedar Lane a block from his home on Christmas night is a black 2003-2005 Honda Pilot believed to possibly have damage to the front passenger bumper, hood and windshield, authorities said Friday.
After hitting 59-year-old Steven J. Leitgeb at 6:47 p.m. at Garrison Avenue, the vehicle continued east on Cedar Lane and then south on Palisade Avenue (see surveillance image, above), authorities said.
Leitgeb was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he died.
