YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Two men posing as FBI agents investigating a possible meth lab tied up three Ramsey jewelry store employees during a gunpoint robbery late this morning, police said.
The employees at Aydin Jewelers on southbound Route 17 “were placed in a rear room while the [robbers] entered the safe and display cases and stole an unknown amount of jewelry” during the holdup just before 11:30 a.m., Ramsey Police Chief Bryan Gurney said this afternoon.
All three were zip-tied, Gurney said.
The Bergen County Sherriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation was collecting evidence, the chief said.
