YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A raid on a Park Ridge home turned up drugs, two rifles and three large-capacity magazines, leading to the arrests of two men, authorities said today.
A joint investigation by members of the Bergen County Narcotics Task Force and Park Ridge police led to the Feb. 27 raid at the Colony Avenue home of Thomas Ranno, 53 (above, left), and 47-year-old Douglas Ebneter (right), Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said today.
Besides the guns and ammo, detectives seized 10 grams of cocaine, a half-ounce of marijuana and $1,851 in cash, Molinelli said.
Ranno was charged with possession of a fiream during a drug offense and possession of a large-capacity magazine, in addition to drug possession with intent counts, the prosecutor said.
He was was being held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
Ebneter was released pending a court hearing on pot possession charges and for having drug paraphernalia.
