Her mother said she last saw Iana Darlington at 7:30 this morning at their Bruce Street home before she left for work in New York City, Capt. Richard Besser told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

She never showed up at at the Slocum-Skewes School, where she is a cheerleader, about a 10-minute walk from her mother’s home.

School officials contacted the family later that morning.

There were no immediate signs of foul play, the captain said.

Iana is 5-foot-2 and 110 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a navy-blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
