A couple accused of stealing a laser pointer from a local CVS might have had a quick getaway — if only they han’d locked their keys in their car, Wyckoff police said.
Responding Officer Kyle Ferreira found Robyn R. Verga, 27, of Garfield, using a coat hanger to try and pop the lock on the car door outside the Franklin Avenue pharmacy, Police Chief Benjamin C. Fox said.
Verga and her companion, Robyn R. Verga, Jordan R. Stevens, also 27, of Prospect Park, then gave backup Officers William Plisch and James Bakelaar “different stories about their purpose for being there,” Fox said. READ MORE….
